PURPOSE:To filter safety and surely gas without loosening and projecting of a filter net for cooling caused by effluent pressure of the gas when a gas generator is actuated. CONSTITUTION:A gas generator 1 provides an ignition chamber 3 having a squib 3a and an ignition agent 3b at the central position. On its outer peripheral position, a combustion chamber 4 contg. a gas generating agent 6 and furthermore, on the outer peripheral position, a cooling and collecting chamber 5 wherein a filter 9 for cooling and collecting consisting of a metal net etc., is wound from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side and is stored, are arranged. A gas exhaust outlet 10 is arranged on the outer peripheral wall of the cooling and collecting chamber 5 and the combustion gas generated in the combustion chamber 4 is introduced in the cooling and collecting chamber 5 and is ejected through the gas exhaust outlet 10. The wound end part 21 of the filter is folded inside so that the metal net of the end part 22 of the filter could not be loosened or projected by the effluent pressure of the combustion gas when the gas generator 1 is actuated. |
