PURPOSE:To make expansion mechanism for arms, combined telescopically in plural stages, extremely simple in a deep excavator used in the case of excavating an extremely deep hole compared to its diameter in civil engineering work or the like. CONSTITUTION:A deep excavator is formed of a vehicle body 1, a boom 4 journalled to the upper part of the body 1 so as to be able to oscillate vertically, an expansion arm 15 fitted to the tip of the boom 4 and expandable in the longitudinal direction by combining plural arms telescopically, and a bucket 13 fitted to the utmost tip arm 10 of the expansion arm 15 so as to be able to grasp sediment. An operating unit 20 with two hydraulic cylinders 21, 22 is fixed into the intermediate arm 9. The cylinder rod 23 of one hydraulic cylinder 21 is connected to the upper stage arm 6, and the cylinder rod 24 of the other hydraulic cylinder 22 is connected to the lower arm 10. |
