PURPOSE:To obtain a variant type Escherichia coli ribonuclease HI, holding the enzymic activity of the natural type Escherichia coli ribonuclease H1 and improved in stability. CONSTITUTION:This variant type Escherichia coli ribonuclease HI, holding the enzymic activity of the natural type Escherichia coli ribonuclease HI and improved in stability is obtained by substituting valine at the 74th position of the natural type Escherichia coli ribonuclease HI with leucine.
