PURPOSE:To provide a rear wheel steering device for a vehicle having an air spring which is manufactured so that weight is reduced and a cost is decreased through simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering device is capable of steering rear wheels 12 during high speed traveling of a vehicle through combination of a V-shaped upper radius rod 6 whose top part is pivotally mounted on the central position in the vehicle width direction of a rear axle housing 1 for supporting the rear wheels 12 on two end parts in the vehicle width direction and whose legs are pivotally supported on a side rail 81, and a lower radius rod 7 driven by a power cylinder. In this rear wheel steering device, the rear wheels 12 are steerable through drive of a pair of the lower radius rods 7 by means of a single power cylinder 4, one end of a leaf spring 2 is fixed to a side rail 81 by means of a bracket and rubber layers 9 in each of which a metal plate 91 and rubber 92 are laminated in the height direction are arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of an inner rear axle 11, and an air spring 2 and the side rail 81. |
