<p>PURPOSE:To produce young seedling of cyclamen having uniform character in large quantities by forming a callus from a part of the plant body of cyclamen, efficiently proliferating the callus by liquid culture in a tank, etc., to form a large amount of adventitious embryos and regenerating the embryo to a seedling. CONSTITUTION:This process for the producing the young seedlings of cyclamen is composed of (A) a process to form a callus from a part of the plant body of cyclamen and proliferate the callus by culturing on a solid medium, (B) a process to transfer the callus proliferated by the process A into a liquid medium and proliferate the callus by culturing in the liquid medium, (C) a process to form an adventitious embryo by the cultivation of the callus proliferated by the process B and regenerate a seedling from the embryo and (D) a process to grow the seedling obtained by the process C.</p> |
