PURPOSE:To provide a combined body and a manufacturing method thereof wherein firm connection of ceramics to metal can be obtained by a simple method to decrease a trouble of generation of residual stress, decrease of connecting force, etc., even after the connection. CONSTITUTION:In a method for combining a ceramics member 2 to a metal member 3 by press fitting by applying a lubricant to at least one press fit surface of both the members, after press fitting the ceramics member 2 to the metal member 3, a more than half amount of the lubricant is decomposed and volatilized or changed into a low slidable substance, and further at a temperature of not denaturing the metal member 3, the press fit surface is heat treated. |
