PURPOSE:To provide an electronic component string which is affectionate the global environment in a way that a carrier tape and a cover tape dumped an electronic component is automatically mounted on a printed board by an automatic mounting device are prevented from becoming industrial waste. CONSTITUTION:A train of electronic parts comprises a carrier tape 11 to contain electronic components 13 respectively in a number of emboss pockets 12 arranged at a given distance between the adjoining emboss pockets, and a cover tape 14 to prevent jumping out of the electronic component 13. One or both of the carrier tape 11 and the cover tape 14 are formed of raw decomposable plastics when the raw decomposable plastics are dumped in earth, the plastics are eaten by microorganisms in the earth and completely decomposed approximately within a half year or one year.
