PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer sheet having a good heat-resistant slip layer excellent in heat resistance, film forming properties or slip properties, improving the running properties of a thermal head and preventing the accumulation of refuse on the thermal head and the abrasion of the thermal head. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer sheet wherein a thermal transfer colorant layer is formed on one surface of a base material sheet and a heat-resistant slip layer is formed on the other layer thereof, the heat resistant slip layer is composed of a silicone segment-containing resin and/or an ionizing radiation crosslinked matter of a mixture of a silicone segment-containing monomer and a multifunctional monomer. |
