<p>PURPOSE:To detect the generation of skew when a paper sheet passes through a roller device, by arranging a means for detecting the top edge part of the paper sheet transported by the roller device and a detecting means for the rear edge parts on both the sides of the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:As for a device for sending out a paper sheet by using a roller device 32 arranged in a paper transport passage, a sensor S3 is arranged on the downstream part of the roller, and sensors S1 and S2 are arranged on the upstream part of the roller device. When the paper sheet is sent out by the roller device, the time difference between the time when the top edge part of the paper sheet is detected by the sensor S3 and the time when the parts on both the sides of the rear edge part of the paper sheet are detected by two sensor S1 and S2 is detected, and the direction and degree of skew of the paper sheet can be known. Accordingly, the roller device can be adjusted so that no skew is generated on the paper sheet.</p> |
