PURPOSE:To provide a cold-rolling method for aluminum wherein lubricant of emulsion and separation properties between oil and water is excellent, and rolling can be performed under high speed and high rolling reduction and separated oil and separated water after separation of oil and water can be used stably and circularly. CONSTITUTION:In the cold-rolling method for aluminum wherein emulsion which contains no emulusifier is formed by mixing rolling oil having self emulsifying properties and water and emulsion is supplied as luibricant, the average particle diameter of the emulsion used as lubricant is defined by 20-50mum. As the water mixed with the rolling oil is used the water having properties wherein pH: 5.0-6.2, electric conductivity: <=15mus, temperature: 25-75 deg.C, content of ions: <=3ppm. Preferably, ion exchange water is used. |
