STORAGE VAULT AND METHOD

A method for the above-ground storage of a flammable, potentially ground-water polluting liquid on a support surface is disclosed comprising the initial step of containing the flammable liquid within an inner tank. The inner tank is encased within a layer of concrete to create a dual walled container that is a chosen distance above the support surface to create a visual leak inspection region between the dual walled container and the support surface. A storage vault capable of storing liquid according to the foregoing method is also disclosed.
