<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of making out an envelope body when there is image information to be recorded on a cover record paper sheet, by feeding to an image formation means a cover record paper sheet of a proper size in relation to an ordinary record paper sheet, conducting image formation such as an address on the cover record paper sheet, and realizing the making out of a twofold envelope body. CONSTITUTION:At a copying machine, when the simple envelope mode of an operation panel is selected, first, the combination of record paper sheets is checked, that is, whether or not there is a combination in which an area ratio is 2:1 and lengthwise delivery is for a record paper sheet of a large size and lateral delivery is for a record paper sheet of a small size is checked. In the case of YES, whether or not the selected ordinary record paper sheet is to be delivered lengthwise is checked, and in the case of lengthwise delivery, the state of copying prohibition is brought in. Meanwhile, in the case of lateral delivery, the size of a cover record paper sheet is set twice the size of an ordinary record paper sheet.
