<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an oxygen thickener which is light in weight, is noise-free and is inexpensive by respectively forming a first passage between an electrochemical oxygen generator and an inner housing and a second passage between the inner housing and an outer housing and moving air in the passages by convection. CONSTITUTION: The electrochemical oxygen generator 10 is concentrically disposed in the inner housing 120. The first passage 150 is formed between the inside surface of the inner housing 120 and the outside surface of the oxygen generator 10 and the second passage 130 is formed between the outside surface of the inner housing 120 and the inside surface of the outer housing 110. Air moves downward through the second passage 130 and moves to a longitudinal direction along the outside surface of the oxygen generator 10 in the first passage 150 through a transition passage 226. At this time, some of the air is processed by the oxygen generator 10 and oxygen is extracted. In addition, all of the air is overheated. The warmed air is risen by the principle of convection and is circulated within the apparatus. On the other hand, the generated oxygen is discharged through a discharge pipe 200.</p> |
