PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition effective for removing a stain of food such as curry by mixing a specified starch side chain-hydrolyzing enzyme with alpha-amylase or beta-amylase, a soap and a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:This detergent composition comprises at least one starch side chain-hydrolyzing enzyme selected from pullulanase, isopullulanase and isoamylase, at least one enzyme selected from alpha-amylase and beta-amylase, 0.01-5wt.% soap prepared by neutralizing an 8-22C saturated or unsaturated fatty acid to a degree of neutralization of 60-100mol%, and 0.5-60wt.% surfactant other than the above soap. This composition is markedly improved in the power of deterging a stain of food such as curry, meat sauce, ketchup, chocolate or fruit juice within a usual washing time. |
