Insulation material is manufactured in rolls for inflation & cutting on site. It consists of two plastic films, one (10) of air & watertight hollow flexible polyethylene its sides pleated, & another (12) of polyester, polyethylene glued making a second envelope round the first with two plane surfaces folded like bellows. Compressed air is fed into a thin hollow tube (16) fitted in the first film, inflating the roll & opening the second part, forming a rectangular insulating strip. Rolls are supplied in continuous form or cut to required lengths by toothed rollers. USE/ADVANTAGES : Suitable for heat and sound insulation.
