<p>The motor includes at least one magnetic field sensitive element mounted on the motor stator to detect rotor position dependent fluctuations in the magnetic flux. The signals from the element are evaluated electronically. The unwanted core current field components of the magnetic flux in the signals of the element are eliminated or reduced. An axial slot (42) is arranged in the magnetic yoke (40) of the stator to increase the magnetic resistance for the transverse core field. The magnetic field sensitive element (25) is arranged in the region of this slot. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for permanent magnet d.c. motor for many applications, e.g. for car windows or sliding roofs requiring effective closure. Core current field component of magnetic flux is effectively eliminated or reduced to leave ideally only desired component of stimulating field in signal of magnetic field sensitive element.</p> |
