The low floor rail vehicle (2) has continuous floor level and small wheels, uniform damper and coupler, including brake fittings, and locking and lift members. The head (1) carrier on either side firmly coupled struts (3), with end joints (4) coupled to the vehicle side walls. The head in its top position, is coupled to the vehicle floor in its lower centre, via a rectangular lug (7) and corresp. retentions (8). In its lower position, the head abuts the rail via feet (11) not orthogonal to head front side. The top face (14), also not orthogonal to the front side, forms a plane with the vehicle floor. ADVANTAGE - No need to remove the head during (un)loading and to decouple the brake lines, while lowering does not require external gear.
