Method of filling the internal area of glass screens - with gas to improve its sound and heat insulation properties

The internal area between composite glass screens is filled with gas other than air by feeding the gas into the area and continuously drawing off a part of the gas flow leaving this area for analysis. The gas is continued to be fed in until the analysed gas reaches the required composition. USE/ADVANTAGE - Filling with sulphur hexafluoride or a noble gas such as argon. The optimal degree of filling with the gas is quickly and reliably achieved, is approx. 50% for sound and 90% for heat insulation.
