The connecting pin`s (2) external diameter and the hollow shaft`s (1) internal diameter are such that they interfit. The hollow shaft`s open end, where the connecting pin fits tightly in (7) is enclosed by a steel supporting and fixture ring (3) whose internal diameter and the hollow shaft`s external diameter are produced with a transition or clearance fit. The supporting and fixture ring is fixed in the hollow shaft when the connection with the connecting pin are in a press fit. At least one steel balancing weight is welded to the supporting fixture ring. The connecting pin is smooth or has a raised surface structure. ADVANTAGE - The connection between an aluminium hollow shaft and connecting pin inserted into its open end transmits torque and is balanced.
