In the cistern centre is located a bell (11), within which is fitted a valve linked overflow pipe (10) in connection flush pipe. The cistern has an external lifter. In the bell and overflow pipe is fitted a coupler (4), coupled to the lifter. It presses vertically through the bell and overflow pipe heads (14, 23). The coupler is axially movable by the lifter independently of the bell and overflow pipe. At least in the region of the heads it has a cross-sectional restriction, enabling an air flow. The overflow pipe head pref. also has air passage perforation. USE/ADVANTAGE - For water flushed toilets with a facility for partial water release of simple, low-cost design.
