The limiters (51a, 52) are fitted between the camera body (10) and the stationary tube (12) for the latter rotary motion w.r.t. the camera body. They permit the movement of the tube in the direction of the optical axis w.r.t. to the camera body. Pref. the limiters contain an engagement protrusion (52) on the tube and a corresp. groove (57a) on the body. Adjuster for the tube movement along the optical axis and for changing the focal point distance are included. The tube outer peripheral surface typically contains an external, multiple thread (12c). There is an adjustment ring (11) whose inner multiple thread engages the inner one for limiting the ring motion w.r.t. the camera body.
