The cutters have a variety of shapes with different cutting heads and with serrated edges to sever all types of underground roots. The tools are fitted into conventional pneumatic drills and the cut root lengths are removed by attaching lifting eyes. The lifting eyes are attached by screw fastenings or by ramming into the root sections. The sections are hauled out of the ground by vehicles or horses, or by pulleys systems under A-frames. ADVANTAGE - The roots are cut into lengths suitable for hauling out of the ground with a minimum of effort and using conventional tools.
