摘要 The bearing mounting system for an open-end spinning rotor, with at least one aerostatic radial bearing and two opposing thrust bearings, has a porous sintered bearing body (22,37) to give the bearing surfaces (23,41) for each radial bearing (18) and thrust bearing (35,36). They are connected to a compressed air supply. The two thrust bearings (35,36) are within a common bearing body (37). Pref., the bearing body (37) of the thrust bearing (35,36) is between two radial bearings (18). The clear width between the radial bearings (18) is the width of the thrust bearing (35,36) together with the width of the drive for the rotor. USE/ADVANTAGE - The bearing system is for the rotor mounting in an open-end spinner. The mechanism gives an aerostatic radial and thrust bearing system in a simple structure, which can tolerate high loading, and which is subjected to the lowest possible forces in operation.
