The printed paper sheets which are ejected from the printing press are received one after the other on a collecting device (9) at the paper outlet until the required number of sheets is obtained. The printed sheets are then removed from the collector and transferred successively to the next processing station where they are either dried, aligned, cleaned of powder, turned or stacked directly into a stack. The paper ejector point of the next processing station is located at a paper inlet point of the press. The printing press has in one area the paper supply unit, printing units and ejector unit (9). The paper ejector unit has a transport unit (12) for the ejected papers and associated with a conveyor. ADVANTAGE- Compact design with simplified transport path.
