<p>A novel antifungal antibiotic represented by the following formula: X-Asn-Ser-Pro-Asn-Tyr-Asn-Gln wherein X represents an alpha -amino fatty acid residue. HUT57A and HUT57B, two components of this antibiotic, have been isolated from a culture of Bacillus licheniformis UTK. Both are novel substances and useful as antifungal agents not only for man and animal but also for agrohorticultural use.</p> |
