PURPOSE:To unify a diagnostic program for units having different functions to shorten the diagnosis time by setting attributes dependent upon difference in system configuration previously. CONSTITUTION:Normal attribute setting circuit 1 sets combinations of attributes such as types and the number of required channels and the number of sub-channels, and a circuit having a basic function is operated on a basis of the set value to fulfill various functions requested to the system. Diagnosis attribute setting circuit 2 obtains attributes of a specific virtual system configuration independently of individual concrete system configuration. By diagnosing operations based on these specific attributes at a diagnosis time, the diagnostic program can be unified. Consequently, circuits 1 and 2 can be switched by applying control signal A to switch means 3 consisting of an inverter, an AND circuit and an OR circuit, and it is unnecessary to generate individual diagnostic programs for units having different functions for very system, so that operations can be simplified and the diagnosis time can be shortened. |
