<p>This protective structure for a connection site for medical use is of the type comprising sites (A) for connection to at least one valve (3) integral with a fixation palette (5), a casing (B) mounted slidably on the palette (5) and consisting of two half shells (8a-8b) made of synthetic material, articulated via their rear longitudinal walls, equipped on their front longitudinal walls with resilient closure means (16-17), and equipped with foam linings (15) comprising recesses for the flush fitting of the valves and tubings of the connection site. According to the invention, the half shells (8a-8b) are articulated, via hinges (20) which are independent and spaced apart, on the thinned longitudinal edges of a rear transverse wall (22) integral with a slide (23) and mounted movably on the palette (5), whilst the length of this palette (5) is at least equal to the travel (C) which it is necessary for the slide (23) to cover in order to gain complete access to the protective site via the two half shells (8a-8b) in the open position. <IMAGE></p> |
