<p>PURPOSE:To remove smell and color of waste water sufficiently and reuse the same as water for living by providing a filter medium layer constituted of a plurality of filter medium units in an aeration tank except an upper section space and a lower section space, and providing a standing aeration cylinder through said filter medium layer. CONSTITUTION:Waste water flowing from a inflow pipe 1a to a raw water tank 1 is transferred to a precipitation separation tanks 2 and 3 by a raw water pump and further transferred to a first aeration tank 5a after solid-liquid separation is carried out. Soil water flow into the aeration tank 5a is mixed with air in an aeration cylinder 54 and lifted up by the air lift action, and during passing through repeatedly between filter medium layers 53 to which biological sludge is adhered firmly, the mixture is purified by the action of aerobic creatures. Then, treated water is fed to a second aeration tank 5b for carrying out similar treatment as the aeration tank 5a, and purified during the process to a sixth aeration tank 5f. The treated water flows through a precipitation tank 6, a tertiary treatment tank 7, an antifoam tank 8 and an effluent tank 9 and discharged out of a waste water treatment device.</p> |
