摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unnecessary ignition lag by subtructing the sum of a compensated quantity of ignition advance and a learned quantity of ignition lag from the basic ignition advance and preventing the calculated ignition advance from being positioned further on the ignition-lag side than the minimum ignition advance. CONSTITUTION:In step 196, the maximum value of the sum of the quantity of compensated ignition advance and the quantity of learned ignition lag, i.e., the value obtained by subtructing the quantity of learned ignition lag thetai from the maximum value of the quantity of ignition lag thetak max, is stored in a RAM as RA. Whether or not the value of RA is less than the compensated quantity of ignition lag thetak is judged in step 197, and an ignition advance thetaig is calculated in step 199. Thereby, unnecessary ignition lag is prevented since a learning control is performed so that the sum of the quantity of learned ignition lag and the quantity of compensated ignition lag may become less than the difference between the basic ignition advance and the minimum ignition advance, or than the quantity of the maximum ignition lag.
