<p>A method of manufacturing a fluid cylinder comprises screw threading (20 and 18) opposite ends of a barrel (5), engaging a cylinder head (6) and a cylinder cap (2) with the screw threads (20, 18) of the barrel (6) and, after inserting a piston (7) and a piston rod (8), inserting a member (10, 11) in the open end of the barrel (5) to set the length of the stroke of the piston (7).
