<p>The present invention relates to pivoted tools such as scissors, pliers, shears, and the like. More particularly, this invention is concerned with pivoted tools having a pair of elongated members and a pivotable joint (24). The pivotable joint (24) comprises a pair of registering apertures (17,19) cooperating with a unitary pivot member (34).
