Also claimed is an appts. for crystal growth with a growth surface in the form of a periodic relief structure. USE/ADVANTAGE - The technique is for the prodn. of items and materials with defined grain and composite structures for semiconductor wafers. The method controls the crystal growth development for polycrystalline items and materials.
