DEVICE FOR CULTURING ALGAE

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the culture region in the depth direction by irradiating light on algae living in water containing carbon dioxide by a specific method. CONSTITUTION:Light transmitted through a light transmitter composed of a light collecting lens 1, a reflection film-finished tube 2 and optical fibers 4 is irradiated on algae living in water containing carbon dioxide. The optical fiber is composed of a clad-untreated part 5, a clad-treated part 6 and a spiral part 7. The regions of the tube and the untreated part are directly irradiated with sun light, and the light is irradiated from the side surfaces of the optical fibers in the clad-treated region in a deep water region as the sun light does not reach.
