PURPOSE:To provide a recording device which can reduce the cost rationally and carry out multiimage recording of high accuracy without lowering the recording speed. CONSTITUTION:The number of recording elements of recording heads (for example 40) as a part of a plurality of recording heads of a recording device in which recording is performed by a plurality of recording elements in respective recording heads 1, 2, 3 and 40 disposed in series is set as almost half of the number of recording elements in other recording heads 1, 2 and 3. |
