PURPOSE:To make a radio wave shielding device simple and compact by providing a recessed type groove of depth equal to or less than 1/4 of service wavelength on one of a body and a door faced laid in such a way as to be faced to each other, and forming a plurality of slits on a wall, together with an inward bent edge section. CONSTITUTION:A heating chamber opening for taking in and out a heated material from a heating chamber having a high frequency generation device, is covered in such a way as freely opened and closed with a body 1 having a peripheral wall of a conductive material and a door 2 having a peripheral wall faced to the wall of the body 1. Also, a recessed type groove 3 is formed at least on one of the peripheral walls. An inward bent edge section 5 is formed on the outer side wall of the groove 3, and a plurality of slits 6 are provided at least on one of the walls. In addition, the depth of the groove 3 is kept so as not to exceed 1/4 of service wavelength. According to this simple constitution, radio waves can be shielded and a manufacture process can be simplified.
