<p>PURPOSE:To improve the distribution performance of fuel without increasing the ventilation resistance by forming each slit in the vicinity of the branch point in each branched passage of an intake manifold, suppressing the inflow of the wall surface flow by jetting intake into each branched passage from each slit, and allowing each slit to communicate to the upstream part, making a detour around a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION:An intake passage 6 has the inside intake passages 10 and 8 for an intake manifold 2 and a throttle body 4. Midway in the body side intake passage 8, a throttle valve 12 is arranged. While, the manifold side intake passage 10 is successively branched to a plurality of branched passages 16, 18; 22, 26 at a plurality of branch points 14, 20, and 24. In this case, in the vicinity of the branch points 20 and 24 in the branched passages 16 and 18, each slit 32 (30, 33) is formed. Further, the upstream parts of each slit 32 and the throttle valve 12 are connected by each bypass passage 34. Further, intake is jetted from each slit 32, and the inflow of the wall surface flow of the intake manifold 2 into each cylinder is prevented.</p> |
