PURPOSE:To obtain the structure for fitting a lamp socket to a socket fitting strongly so as to prevent the forward and backward inclination and for maintaining a predetermined lamp space. CONSTITUTION:A pair of socket support plate parts 21 provided in a socket fitting 13 are respectively provided with an angular projecting edge part 25, which faces to a socket fitting groove 23 between the pair of socket support plates 21 and which projects largest at the central part in the back direction of the groove 23. Dowels 27, 28 to be inserted to an inlet part and the back part of an engagement groove 16 of a lamp socket 14 are respectively formed at positions close to the projecting edge parts 25, and a groove fit-in part 26 of the socket 14 fitted in the fitting groove 23 is pinched by the projecting edge parts 25 of the pair of support plate parts 21 elastically from the cross direction. Furthermore, the support plate parts 21 and the dowels 27, 28 are made to pressure-contact with the inner surface of the fitting groove 16 to fit the socket 14 to the fitting 13. |
