LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR BEARING

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricant compsn. so sufficient in oil-holding power as not to unsuitably ooze oil even when used at a high temp. for a long period of time or even when reused after being left to stand for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:95-1wt.% ultra-high-mol.-wt. polyolefin powder having an average mol.wt. of 1X10<6> to 5X10<6> is admixed with 5-99wt.% lithium soap-mineral oil lubricating grease and 0.1-30wt.% at least one powdery inorg. oil-oozing suppressor selected from among clay and inorg. pigments such as carbon black and titanium oxide to effect dispersion at a temp. ranging from the gel point of the ultra-high-mol.-wt. polyolefin to the dropping point of the lubricating grease. The resulting dispersion is solidified as such to prepare the objective lubricant compsn. for a bearing.
