PURPOSE:To perform solubility reducing treatment of garbage so as to prevent any bad smell or discharge of filthy water by crushing and dewatering garbage by means of rotary motion of a rotor formed with a helically arranged projecting body and a dewatering filter. CONSTITUTION:Garbage is thrown in through a charge port (a) while rotating a main shaft 4, and the garbage crushed by means of a projecting body 10 which is helically arranged and rotated is fed to a dewater chamber (c). The crushed garbage fed to the dewater chamber (c) is pushed against the inner wall of the cylindrical part of a dewater filter 7 by the action of centrifugal force, and only water content is blown outward by filter effect. The water content is put in a gutter 8 and guided to flow outward through a drain port (b) of the lower part. As to squeezed dregs remaining in the dewater chamber (c), the dewater filter 7 is drawn out from the main shaft 4 by hands after stopping rotation of the main shaft 4, and they are swept off outward with a brush or the like. |
