PURPOSE:To recycle a remote controller by providing an electric apparatus like a television with the function which changes a remote control code and preventing abandonment of the remote controller accompanied with abandonment of the electric apparatus at the time of abandoning the electric apparatus used thus far. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of a television set is first turned on, information such as message display 26 and ten key display 27 is outputted on the screen of a picture display part 25 from a CPU 22 through a signal processing circuit 24. Software of the CPU 22 is so constituted that the CPU 22 interprets the remote control code to store it in an EEPROM 23 and displays storing of '1' of the ten key display part 27 when a use depresses the key '1' of a user remote controller 1. Registration is made along with keys '2', '3',... '9', and '0' of ten key hereafter. Since a remote control acceptance code is specified to the remote controller of the user as the result, all functions are directly controlled concerning the remote controller of the user. |
