摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a host side transmission and reception buffer accompanying an abnormality of a host computer, and to improve the reliability of a radio LAN by detecting the abnormality of a master device side device by a slave device side device while holding an interchangeability with a conventional product without increasing the number of signal lines between the devices. CONSTITUTION:In the radio LAN equipped with plural host computers HCOM 1 or the like connected through a corresponding host side transmission and reception buffer HBUF1 or the like with a radio line, each host side transmission and reception buffer HBUF 1 or the like is equipped with an abnormality detecting circuit ERDT which detects that a strobing signal STBB inputted from the corresponding host computer HCOM1 as an activation control signal is turned to a valid level beyond a prescribed time, and detects the abnormality of the corresponding host computer HCOM1 or the like.
