PURPOSE: To provide a medical piercing device which does not cause any distortion upon MR-image, and capable of using in the magnetic field in case of imaging the magnetic resonance(MR). CONSTITUTION: This piercing device 2 is made from a material such as mostly or fully not showing any magnetization, and a soft coat 3 is arranged on the outer surface of the piercing device which is useful for holding a broken piece scattered when the piercing device is broken. The coat or the broken piece of the piercing device damaged can be taken out from a subject's body without the necessity of a surgical operation.
