PURPOSE:To reduce a waiting period of time of a storage device on a standby- side so as to execute access at high speed by detecting the transfer request signal of the storage device on the standby-side by a transfer request detection circuit and transmitting it to an auxiliary storage access device as a switching request signal. CONSTITUTION:When the processing of a storage device 20B-side terminates earlier than the processing of a storage device 20A-side, a reconnection request is outputted from the storage device 20B to a B-side branch SCSI bus. Then, the transfer request detection circuit 40 detects the reconnection request of B, judges that a system SCSI bus is not connected as yet with the B-side branch SCSI bus by a switching signal, and outputs the switching request signal to the auxiliary storage access device 10. Then, the transfer request of the system SCSI bus is recognized, the switching signal is inverted, a switching device 30 is changed over, the reconnection request of the storage device 20B is accepted and interrupted writing is executed for the storage device 20B. When the system SCSI bus executes transfer, the reconnection request is not accepted. |
