PURPOSE:To exactly adjust a pitch between the foci of two laser light beams without affecting an optical characteristic. CONSTITUTION:In a magneto-optical recording/reproducing device capable of recording/reproducing video information, etc., at high transferring rate by using two laser diodes 1a, 1b, the diodes 1a, 1b are mounted on a single driving optical means 15 and movable in the radial direction of an optical disk 4. The diode 1b is integrated with the lens holder 9 for a collimator lens and this lens holder is mounted on an optical block 21. The lens holder 9 adjusts the irradiating position of the diode 1a to the optical disk 4 in the radial direction of the optical disk 4. Since the collimator lens and the diode 1b are integrally formed, the pitch between foci is adjusted without causing an astigmatic aberration. |
