PURPOSE: To provide an insulating glass structure which is generated by a piece of glass and improves acoustic performance without increasing weight and cost. CONSTITUTION: An acoustic insulating box is constituted of two parallel panels whose peripheral edges are assembled by insertion frames and it has a cavity where gas and air is filled inside. In the box, a waveguide 17 connected with the cavity is formed by orifices 19. The forms, the sections and the positions of the orifices 19 and the section of the waveguide 17 are decided so that the box is not tuned to a sound wave and a mechanical wave, which occur between the cavity and the panels when the box is placed in an incident acoustic area. |
