摘要 PURPOSE: To position movable tool elements with a linear motor and apply an acceleration greater than a specified value, by selectively moving a frame which has at least one pair of faced parallel bearing surfaces, with the linear motor between at least one pair of tandem rails and the frame. CONSTITUTION: At least one pair of tandem rails 14, 15 define first axial line direction movement, and these rails are isolated by a specified distance from each other. At least one pair of continuously connected frames 20, 21 have at least one pair of, e.g. bearing surfaces 64, 65, and 66, 67, and 68, 69, respectively. A linear motor 26 effectively operates in a space between the respective rails 14 and the frames 20, 21 and selectively moves the frames 20, 21. For example, a roller bearing 22 which is in contact with the inside of the frame 21 and previously acts on weight for interference fit controls the motion of the frame 21 while permitting the movement of the bearing 22. Thereby, precision of positioning wherein the linear motor 26 is used can be improved, and acceleration can be increased.
