PURPOSE:To provide a telephone system which can externally retrieve the desired telephone number information by a single connecting operation and also can talk with the retrieved opposite party. CONSTITUTION:A telephone system includes a storage means 8 which stores the telephone number information of many persons, and a main body 7 which contains a recognizing means 10 recognizing the telephone number information shown in the voices or the code signals received from the transmitter, a retrieving means 11 which retrieves the corresponding telephone number information to the means 8 based on the recognizing result of the means 10, and a transmission/reception control means 12 which sends a 3-person connection instruction to an exchange for a telephone set of the relevant number based on the telephone number information retrieved by the means 11. In such a constitution, the number of a desired telephone set to be connected is retrieved by an external transmitter and a call is automatically connected to another telephone set of the retrieved number. |
