PURPOSE:To increase a contact surface between a catalyst electrode bound to an ion exchange film and a collector, eliminate peeling of the electrode, use an ultra-thin ion exchange film of a low resistance, increase a tightening pressure for reducing a contact resistance, increase a gas supply speed to the ion exchange film if a collector of a large thickness is used to supply gas to corners, and improve power generation efficiency. CONSTITUTION:Direction-conversion type gas flow grooves 13, 23 are etched in respective outer surfaces (surfaces at which collector holders are applied) of collectors 12, 22. Inner surfaces (at which catalyst electrodes are applied) are formed in a single plane, and an anode catalyst electrode 11 and a cathode catalyst electrode 21 are printed on the surface and back of an ion exchange film 04 to be formed integrally. Both surfaces are held by the collector 12 which transmits fuel gas and the collector 22 which transmits oxidizer gas comprising porous conductive carbon material, and they are tightened by a collector holder and a collector terminal 16, 26 in which plural cooling water holes are bored from the outer side. |
