The invention relates to a pump system for liquids which can be driven electrically, with a pump housing (2), which is provided with an intake opening (4) on one side (its bottom 3), with an outlet opening (6) on another side (top 5), and in which a pump chamber (8) connected with the intake opening (4) and the outlet opening (6) is arranged, in which chamber a motor-driven transport element (9) moves, as well as a foot section which can be connected with the pump housing, to set up the pump on the bottom of a container for liquid, in such a way that the pump housing is located at least partially below the level of the liquid, where the outlet opening (6) is surrounded by an outlet flange element (20), which is structured in such a way that a counter-flange (21) of a flow-through or outlet system element which can be built together with the pump housing (2) and the attached foot section (13), to form a free-standing and/or selfsupporting tower-like structure, can be directly attached to the outlet flange element (20), forming a seal and supporting each other.
