The apparatus for fixing a shadow mask of flat-bed color brown-tube constructed in such a way that a portion of the upper supporting frame is sloped externally downward and the shadow mask and the fixing point which is a welding part of the support frame is placed at the sloping side, therefore the distance between the shadow mask and the fixing point from the front glass is different, thereby preventing the distance of the shadow mask of the front glass from being varied during a welding-process and maintaining the distinct color by protecting a stress around the welding portion from being forwarded to the hole of the shadow mask.
